Cody

My mom's dog has cancer. He is the sweetest golden retriever ever. He's my dog's favorite playmate, the de facto mayor of his town and most importantly a HUGE part of my mom's life. She'll know more about his outlook after a battery of tests today. Please think some good thoughts about him.

Poor Cody! I feel terrible for your Mom too. I will dream of chasing cats, Milkbones and gnawed up slippers for him tonight.

BTW, the random crampy thing you describe very well could be round ligament pain. I sure hope not because it really sucks, but if it's because the Wonder Twins are getting rowdy in there, then so be it!! I can't believe you aren't going to jump off the pee stick cliff with me. Hmmmfh. I will still love you anyway. :-)

I'm so sorry to hear about Cody's condition. I will hope that there is a reasonable solution to his situation and that he can continue to bring happiness to others.

Awww :( I'm so sorry. I always get so bummed out when I hear about a sick pet.

I am thinking nice thoughts and hope that the vet can help Cody make a full recovery.

I am so very sad to hear about Cody's illness. May St. Francis (my favorite patron saint in all of Catholicism) look over him, your mom and your family.

As the owner of a golden, I know how truly sensitive and sweet the breed can be. They wear their hearts on their sleeves 24/7. Y'all are in my (& Gus') thoughts.

Definitely sending some good thoughts....

I hope he will be ok. We had to make the decision to put our dog to sleep last year and it was awful. It breaks my heart to hear about sick pups.

What an emotional ride for your family this week.

I had a similar "circular" experience as we built our family. I wrote about it at:
