While I wait for CPS to get here...

Current sitch: Two babies in bouncies on the floor facing...Sesame Street. And? Complete silence. Aside from the inane singing and chattering coming from the tv, but I'm ok with that since it's not incessant crying. I don't even think the babies are looking at the tv, but there's something about the music and goofy puppet talking that seems to be working. I don't have any baby einste1ns or anything, so I'm trying this. Thanks PBS.

I KNOW 10 weeks is way too soon for tv, but the crying, OH the crying! It was getting rough this morning and I hadn't eaten, or peed, or taken my fenugreek...blah blah excuses excuses. I never imagined that this would work, but now that it has I fear for my childrens' brains.

Ok - had to relieve my guilty conscience. Now off to do all those things I was talking about...

You are SOOOO Funny!!!! I am sure your precious babies will be just fine!!!! Even with a singleton, we all need a break once in a while...Baby Enstein does wonders...like you said, I think it is the music and moving shapes or whatever...but whatever it is, it works!!! Don't feel guilty....it is not like you were putting them infront of an "X" rated movie!!!! Have a great weekend!!!!

Hey - we all watched Sesame Street - and we turned out ok - didn't we? hello? ;) Speaking of PBS - I saw where they have a baby sign language show once a week - eventually I (and the babies?) will have to tune in to that. My twinnies have actually curbed down the crying lately - its been wonderful - but then again I don't get to see them very much due to work.

I'm taking notes- my double trouble are due soon enough to have me wishing I could stock up on hygeine, food and sleep now.

Instead I contract, lie on my side, swell and insomniac my time away :)

I know what you mean...... I felt guilty when I noticed E and E had their eyes glued to the tv one day -- BUT instead of turning it off I went out and bought them a baby einstein dvd..... oh yeah!! It's the most annoying thing BUT they are quiet..... too funny

I'm sure they're fine. Better for them that you get some peace and sanity. It must be such hard work - don't beat yourself up.

hahahaha! It is amazing what our babies do to us. I once had Missy in a swing with a paci in her mouth (2 things I swore I would never do) and said to her, "see what you have reduced me to."

Sigh. You are a terrific mom and they'll never remember a lick of PBS from these days.
